In order to make the New Mexico Battle of the Books successful, it takes a group of dedicated volunteers. Opportunities to volunteer just the day of the statewide battle or throughout the year are available, whether you choose to help plan the event or assist in running it. Please consider becoming a part of this group. Here are some ways you can help! Write questions for the state Battle of the Books competition. This will involve reading one book, writing 20-25 questions, and submitting them to the committee by March 31st. Contact: Marla Morgan (secondary) - mmorgan@bulldogs.org Contact: Jacque Waters (elementary) - jwaters@bulldogs.org Join the book selection committee. Members read children's books and make suggestions for next year's lists. You can choose from either the elementary or middle school committees.
